DOT-Tunes is an amazingly nice app [both Mac OS X and Windoze] that parses the content of your iTunes folder, and enables you to serve a selection of mp3 on the net via a dedicated server. Once the server is up and running, you can register it to trackers. On the client side, you can listen to mp3s remotely via either a browser, or a dedicated app that comes with the server. You can even listen to mp3s on your PSP via their mini browser and an rss feed of mp3s served. The design is great – version 2.0 will even be better – and it Just Works™. The company that is selling this product is based in Australia, and the support is just great – friendly Aussies and all that… Best of all, it costs 29 AUD [+/- 18€ or 21US$], which is dirt cheap. And if you’re a bit lucky, you may even get a free serial number: MacNN will give away 10 of them, 2 per podcast. Answer the question and get one! Thanks Victor and Dan!

So, if it’s that great, did you buy it, Mistah dda?
Nope, I coded parts of it, as a hired gun. While I am not a member of the company that builds and sells DOT-Tunes, I may have a conflict of interest in advertising this app. So what? It’s great.
