From: [Dudine] on behalf of [the boss]

This would be 06.00pm, French time, but, ahah, 12am for me in HK. I received this email at 2252, Hong Kong time — 04.52pm French time. Obviously the boss a) didn’t think I could be asleep or otherwise engaged in non-work activities; or b) didn’t care. Needless to say, my answer to this email was sent this morning, my time, and started with a polite reminder about time zones.

Then again, our CEO regularly calls me at ungodly hours, his record being 2.50am on a Sunday morning. Which begs the question — did he really expect me (or anyone else) to pick up on a Saturday afternoon anyway?
