Another side effect of modernity in Korea
The shock of two cultures: boy needs his rice and soup for breakfast, like a good ole Korean that he was raised to be, but lives alone in a one-room thingy in a strange city with no mother or matron to cook for his ass. So whachu do? You arrange for daily delivery of rice and soup in the bag there, and there you go, a filling breakfast before going to school or the office. Ain’t that nice..?
