Weird search strings

I get from time to time enough free time to check search strings that lead to my site. I got these lately:

  1. how to unglue visas from the passport
  2. stalinism

??!?!?!?!? I thought the Soviet Union was dead, and visas stamped anyway…

My Chinese visas are glued, then stamped :-)

Huh?!? ChiComs are that creative? :-)

Actually I have had so far three types of visas [on top a the tiny stamps awarded to tourist visas]:
    • one-page multicolor stamp [Korea; has to be multicolor…]
    • one-page sticker [Viêtnam; but now that I think ok it, they may have stamped it, too…]
    • separate sheet of paper [could have been stamped, too…]

In the US, back then, I visited under the visa-waiver programme, so I just got a small stamp [and a lot of aggravation from the customs chico, and that was way before Freedom Fries]. Now that the US don’t allow me to enter on said visa-waiver programme because my passport is an old-fashioned one, I could possibly get a one-page sticker if I decided to visit – I shan’t.

My wife doesn’t have a visa per se in France – the 10-year resident card serves this purpose.

In fact I’m wrong, it is only a one page multicolor sticker, stamps are only on expired or cancelled visas…
